In DVD Player, you just choose the VIDEO_TS folder in the "Open DVD Media" dialog. Then you hit play on the controller. You don't actually select a specific file.

The 256MB mention has to be video memory. They are not going to cripple the new machine with half the memory of the current standard G5 configuration.
