I have 1GB RAM with this machine and wo…

Hmmm, Just got the dual 450... worked out much cheaper in the end. The stuff I'm doing is not that intensive, in fact I used to do it on a G4 400, so I should be OK...
Only thing …

My combo drive is an LG GCC-4480B. I think it's discontinued, but this particular model is 48x24x48x and is also fully supported in OS X. I got it on eBay.

My office wants to buy a new fax machine that will allow us (there are about 13 of us) to send (and possibly recieve?) faxes from our iMacs. I've se…
You at least need a "network enabled" fax machine. It should have an ethernet port, as well as a telephone jack, and it should probably come with client software so your computers…
Got Panther? If so, you don't need to spend a penny more. Fax sharing works just like print sharing. We no longer receive faxes on paper to move about- the receptionist's comput…

I recently got PageSender, (no offense to the built-in fax software, but I like this better) and it has worked fine. My question -- and I KNOW I saw this yesterday, but I can't fig…
