I am on a Macbook and I tried talking to my g/f on skype. I can hear her fine and it sounds great but she hears an echo, I am thinking obviously that the mic is picking up her voic…
The easiest work around I've found and used is to use some headphones.
I'm not aware of any settings within Skype that would fix the echo (noise cancellation).
The only way to get around is to use an external mic. That'st he downside of internal mics. Why not flex that new Bluetooth option with a new BT headset?
Gah! my trusty companion suddenly went into cardiac arrest!
I was doingt a restore on it to clear it out and reload my songs ( since my library now surpasses its storage capabilit…

Yes, I've read the FAQ that discussed why you don't plan to make a product for Windows. I still wanted to throw my .02 in to say that I would really dig a Windows version of this a…
Delicious Library is going to remain a Mac-only product for now. Not because we hate Windows users or anything like that (we love you guys equally), but because we use a boatload …
Have you looked at all at available features in Windows Vista?
I'm admittedly ignorant of what goes into building desktop applications (for Macs or PCs), but I've gotten the impr…
I mean, Mac OS X and Windows Vista are Turing equivalent, right? So, theoretically, we could make Delicious Library for Windows. Furthermore, for the sake of argument let's make tw…
Thanks for your replies. I understand your position, but that doesn't mean I'm not disappointed by it.

I decided to take the plunge and reapply the thermal paste on my macbook.
I searched the net and found the following link iFixit Thanks to that information, disassembling the macb…
This thread is worthless without pix.
P.S. I went thru that iFixit page and it definitely doesn't seem like a snap. Doable for a n00b like me, but not a snap. I'm not keen on voi…
I don't trust those number at all unless you exactly replicate the conditions and use of the laptop at when it was running at the higher temps.
So far there are reports going arou…
Perhaps the thermal paste issue is overblown, but I can confirm that in my PCs, even the original Arctic Silver would best standard thermal goop by several degrees (or more at maxi…
I'll give you the 5 degree drop but these people are reporting 20.
I have a feeling it is the way they are measuring it. They have the MB running all day doing whatever, take a t…
I duplicated my usage pretty accurately.
Here's another statistic
My macbook before the surgey was idling at 57c - just on, no activity no interaction. It got to that temperature…

Oh it helps, but the Macbook I have now is running very cool so I don't plan on opening it up. It's to hard to open I could open, reapply and close in about an hour I guess.
I didn't think it was too difficult, just a lot of screws but I was nervious at trying to get the keyboard off. It was just not giving and I did not want to bend or misshape the pl…
