Speck rubber cover for 5G Video — #3

Sucks. I wish I had gotten a skin for my old 3G. Now I have a new black 5G and I'm babying that thing like none other until the Contour Showcase for 30GB ships.

Speck rubber cover for 5G Video — #4

I prefer the Speck ToughSkin. Those thin skins just don't do it for me. I had a rubber skin from another company and it also didn't sit flush on my iPod video.

nano syncs ok w/ibook, no go w/ win XP — #2

Its formatted for mac. It has to be formatted for windows in order for windows xp to read it. If you format it FAT for windows, both computers should be able to read and write.

nano syncs ok w/ibook, no go w/ win XP — #5

When the iPod is formatted on a Mac, it gets written with the OS X filesystem, which Windows can't read or write. When the iPod is formatted in Windows (as it's asking you to do),…

nano syncs ok w/ibook, no go w/ win XP — #7

It worked fine on the iBook, iTunes and all. I formated it like said to FAT32 on the XP box. I then got a B&W battery image with (!) in triangle on the nano screen. I remove…

ipod+hp: will it work on my mac? — #2

It may be formatted for PCs out of the box but you can just reformat it on your mac. It should behave normally since as far as I know the only difference is the logo on the back.

ipod+hp: will it work on my mac? — #3

iPod = iPod. Marketed by HP makes it just slightly different in its packaging-and maybe it's preformatted for PCs. An iPod straight from Apple comes ready to set up with either p…

Is there something in the water where I am, or is the OP NOT using English? I didn't understand the post at all.

Pirated iPods!!! — #6

I believe the poster is discussing the already discussed counterfeit iPod shuffle units - the packaging and design looks very similar but it is not the same.

Pirated iPods!!! — #8

My guess is China. I took a look at my 20 GB iPod (monochrome...4th generation? Came out the same time as the U2 edition) I got here in the US last year and it says on the back,…
