My PCI SCSI card is an Adaptec 7850 flavour card, model AVA 2906. A fairly common card so it could be possible that it is the same as yours. Drivers for OS X can be downloaded here…
The OP has reported what System Profile provides from DMI.
pci = PCI device
9004 = Vendor ID for Adaptec
7850 = Model number
I don't know whether Adaptec have multiple flavours…

Why do you need DHCP, anyway? If you've only got the two machines on the network, wouldn't it be easier to just give each a static IP? (most likely in the 192.168.0.xxx range)
