266MHZ Beige G3 mini tower buildup — #25

Never had any problem booting mine from ATA. I've had all three revisions here, and the 8GB limitation applies to all of them.

Wireless Card for a Lombard 333Mhz — #10

I currently use a Lucent Wavelan Silver in my Lombard 400 in OS9 and OSX (and OS7.6.1 on my PB 190). It works in OS9 fine with drivers found on the net. With OSX you either have …

Wireless Card for a Lombard 333Mhz — #9

the sonnet aria extreme does not work in os 9. The system recognizes that it is there, but does not see it as a wireless card. The sonnet card has a broadcom chipset too.

266MHZ Beige G3 mini tower buildup — #22

I set it up like you said, 80 gb drive as master on primary bus, dvdrw as master on secondary bus with the os9 drive as slave to the cd drive. I made two partitions on the 80gb, on…

iMac G3 sound too loud — #3

Hmm, forgot to mention I'm using 9.2.2. Other than using external speakers through the headphone jack, I'm coming up short.

iMac G3 sound too loud — #2

Seems to me all G3 macs have their sound over the top, it is annoying. The only thing I would suggest is Hear, but I don't know if that works on Tiger.

iMac G3 sound too loud — #1

My Blueberry G3's sound is entirely too loud, even on the lowest volume setting. Any way to get it quieter? I have to turn the sound down on each program, which is annoying, and an…

800K/400K Superdrive Access up to OS X 10.2.8? — #2

Technically, Mac OS did not drop support for 400KB disks with Mac OS 7.6.x. With System 7.5.x, a lot of floppy disk handling shifted from the core OS to PC Exchange, or whatever it…

266MHZ Beige G3 mini tower buildup — #21

I would try it again with your cd on one ata master and 80 gig on other ata master, and your os9 boot as slave to the cd. It should boot from os9 then run xpf and then it will reb…

Video Capture on a Beige G3 — #8

Right, I will try new software before I try new hardware. There is no point in putting in additional hardware in the beige. I might as well put it in the WGS 9650.

Video Capture on a Beige G3 — #7

The higher end cards sync perfectly (Targa 2000 for example) as long as you use decent software. Try Premiere 5 on what you have before you go an get new hardware.
