It's so cool that you're in Nairobi, Nicko. Is the Fairview (hotel) still there? When I'd visit there that's where I'd stay. I love it there.

It's a Carolina Wren or House Wren as we call them.
I saw it late yesterday afternoon with it's mother.

My mom used to have that problem all the time with cardinals. They would fly from her cherry tree into the same window. This went on for years. They would **** all over the place, …

When I was young, we lived in a house that had a wooded area as a back yard (trees virtually within reach of my bedroom window). One evening I heard a small thump followed immedia…
I just installed a Belkin 750VA UPS and tried to use the Bulldog software (downloaded the latest version 3.0.4). It disconnects before I even login, and I can't get it to see the U…
Did you try using the UPS without the Belkin driver? All but the very oldest versions of Mac OS X (as well as Mac OS 9.0.4 and later) have built-in support for USB UPSes.

Yep, I made sure to get the latest firmware. I think I've come to the conclusion that the HD is bad. I think Disk Warrior may be able to fix it, but I don't want to buy Disk Warr…
No, but both my Powerbook and iMac work fine when I plug in the firewire cable and use the Powerbook in Target Disk mode. I assume that means both ports are good.
