I´m talking about the Orinoco one. The original Airport cards are going for over 110-120 bucks on *bay Germany these days.

Yeah very lame. I wont buy another iPod till 1. They adopt Firewire again. 2. USB gets lots faster.

i think it was to slim down the size of the pod. I could be wrong, but I believe the FW chipset takes up more room than the USB one.
