Interesting, older iPods don't have this function.

Could the picture need to be in a certain format for it to work correctly?

I just got my video iPod today...I'm loving it, but it'd be nice if this function worked

not sure, all the pictures that i drag into my addressbook are mostly jpeg's... not sure why its only working for some pictures and not all... must be a bug in the ipod software or…

Yep. Though 10.4.3 killed EyeHome, it resolved this matter.

The 10.4.3 update included an update to Address book.app...so...if one without Tiger had a copy of the new Address Book.app, they should be in business.

Uhh... Didn't Apple develop FireWire? I can't see this as a decision that was made lightly.
