I just synchronized my 3rd Gen 20 GB. The nested playlists does not carry over. So far, there were no problems with synchronization.

iTunes 5 is even easier to theme than previous versions.
The top and bottom bars can be skinned anyway you like, they are just picts so now you can use color int he itunes window …
