what do you mean by re-synching? Sorry but I am not that clued up with all this downloading business.

I mean deleting the affected songs from your ipod, and then letting itunes put them back for you.

Try a restore and reload.

Some music from itunes would not play on the shuffle , caused it to lock up. I think this has fixed it

I hope the popping problem was fixed. Whenever I play a long AAC Bookmarkable file it will start popping and have 10+ second delays in pausing or changing volume. Very annoying.

Did the Shuffle have Sound Check before?
