Just try copying the "Apple Ethernet LC" extension onto the floppy. If that doesn't fit, try cutting out some of the unnecessary stuff. BTW, more hard drives: http://cgi.ebay.com…

Make sure you have the appropriate network extension installed! Since your Ethernet card is an Apple one, you just need the Apple Ethernet LC extension which can be found here.
