All indications are that these new 15" and 17" PowerBooks are indeed the 7448 ones we have been waiting for... except for the 7448 chip itself. In other words, they were designed …

I don't see Apple releasing any more powerbooks before the Intel 'books. If the 7448 didn't make the last update, it's not likely to be used at all - last week's update was timed p…
If the 7448's could have come out, Apple would have released them. They're not going to release another revision a few months after one and a few months before the major Mactel cha…
I thought maybe the 7448 would show up next year, even after this revision (definitely not the G5), but I think Randman is right: sit eems unlikely, and their engineering efforts w…

I would be stunned if it took Apple another year to produce Intel powerbooks. They say the first Yonah (i.e. the 2006 model dual-core or single-core Pentium M) systems will ship i…
Forgot to add that I would think it would be the easiest thing in the world for Apple to start inserting the 7448 in the 15 and 17 inch Powerbooks just as soon as they get them; th…

Sorenson exports direct to MP4 and this is the first I have heard of it not being compatible...what is the problem..the program itself? The presets?
Thanks for the info...
Sorenson can be converted into mp4 and H.264. Any QT supported codec can. Just export into an iPod compatible format and you're on. But sorenson will not play on an iPod.
He's not talking about the sorenson codecs, he's talking about the "Sorenson Squeeze" software. That software can output mpeg-4. He's asking for the mp4 setting that will be playab…
Exactly...Sorenson Squeeze does indeed output mp4 and I'm trying to use it to produce iTunes vids..just wondering if anyone has used it and what the output settings would be...
K, so i played with Sorenson a bit tonight and I have these settings (whihc looks pretty good on the iPod):
Stream Type: Non-Streaming (Non-Hinted)
Audio:
Codec: Coding Technolog…
