Why not the best of both worlds? A G5 with something like this!

G5. I don't have a TV anyway.

i would survive without my dvr (digital video recorder) cable box. have to move back to windows? i'd rather not think about that.

Easy one.. I choose g5 without Tivo. My sister was telling me how cool it is but still, I'd choose a Mac over Tivo.

I would go with the G5 because, like most here, I don't have a Tivo.

It's an easy choice, A G5 Mac running osX, but no Tivo.
