I read in some post that people have iBooks at 400. (Topic VD support on iBook)
If you know how to make it, please post.
Thanks.

Has anyone tried the ADB hack on a Rev B motherboard yet? The site I got the hack from (http://www.bekkoame.ne.jp/~t-imai/imace2.html) said something about rev B not supporting it,…

take it to 500! believe it or not a few people have more succes at 500 than at 450! If you don't think it will go, heres food for thought. I just clocked my sawtooth 350 to 450!

It's done by switching resistors on the back of the cpu card. I did it by desoldering all the PLL resstors and soldering wire leads to the pads. Then I attatched 1/4 watt resistors…

First generation iMacs have 66MHz buses.
Second generation iMacs have 100MHz buses (that's 50% faster).
At least in iMacs, what does this exactly mean? Is this the speed at which…

50% more means this:
x'=1.5x (1.5, since it's 50% more than 100%). Therefore: x'=1.5*66 and x'=100
Don't worry, most people don't understand this anyway.
MacNN
Troubleshooting
33+33=66
33+33+(1/2)*(33+33)=99
thus the 50% increase. The calculation is done from the 66Mhz Mobo point of view, not the 100Mhz one

If I may:
33/66 = 1/2
so
33/66 = 50/100
so
100 is about 50% MORE than 66,
since it is 34 more than 66.
BUT, 66 is about 33% LESS than 100.
It depends on your viewing angle...

I am not sure of this, but the product of bus width (in bytes per cycle) and the frequency (in Hz) should be equal to the bandwidth. So:

yes, it is 66.66 mhz. And the 100mhz buses are actually 99.99mhz. But who cares!?
The real question is, can we change the bus speed in our 1st gen iMacs.

actually, in theory, it's 66.666.....repeat indefinitely, while 100Mhz buses should be exactly 100Mhz.
