Okay,
So here is the interesting thing. I can plug the dongle into my MBP, and the mouse works as normal, albeit, slowly; USB Overdrive would remedy that I'm sure.
But, no matter…
Funny thing is, I just had a very rare crash on my Mac...you know the one, where the screen goes dim and it tells you how to restart the mac in several languages. Anyways, can i ta…
Well with the MBP you can just change the settings on the mouse itself. I find using the fastest setting, the one at the top is best within OSX. Have you tried messing with the Mou…
Yeah I looked there ... nada. What I need to do is spend some time looking for conflicts with other devices...I don't see that too often, but it is possible. Thanks again for the s…
I dont have the G7, but i do have the mx518 ( another non-mac gaming mouse )

i was going to get the g5, but it's missing …

No, they shouldn't still be on the nano. However, make sure that those songs aren't in more than one playlist. For example, if you had a "recently added playlist" set to sync with …

I am on a Macbook and I tried talking to my g/f on skype. I can hear her fine and it sounds great but she hears an echo, I am thinking obviously that the mic is picking up her voic…
The easiest work around I've found and used is to use some headphones.
I'm not aware of any settings within Skype that would fix the echo (noise cancellation).
The only way to get around is to use an external mic. That'st he downside of internal mics. Why not flex that new Bluetooth option with a new BT headset?
Gah! my trusty companion suddenly went into cardiac arrest!
I was doingt a restore on it to clear it out and reload my songs ( since my library now surpasses its storage capabilit…
instant update:

I decided to take the plunge and reapply the thermal paste on my macbook.
I searched the net and found the following link iFixit Thanks to that information, disassembling the macb…
This thread is worthless without pix.
P.S. I went thru that iFixit page and it definitely doesn't seem like a snap. Doable for a n00b like me, but not a snap. I'm not keen on voi…

Perhaps the thermal paste issue is overblown, but I can confirm that in my PCs, even the original Arctic Silver would best standard thermal goop by several degrees (or more at maxi…
I'll give you the 5 degree drop but these people are reporting 20.

I duplicated my usage pretty accurately.
Here's another statistic

Oh it helps, but the Macbook I have now is running very cool so I don't plan on opening it up. It's to hard to open I could open, reapply and close in about an hour I guess.
I didn't think it was too difficult, just a lot of screws but I was nervious at trying to get the keyboard off. It was just not giving and I did not want to bend or misshape the pl…
