The only thing I see wrong in the text colors at this point is how the text on the buttons has to be the same as what shows up right on the window... Which makes it almost impossib…

Another text colour thing - as far as I can tell, the titlebar text has to be the same colour on aqua and metal windows both. Not a problem for lots of themes, but it's messing up …
Ah, I found out the problem, and yes, the sullution WAS legal folks. All I had to do was to disable skin a dock. For some reason, that was preventing it from updateing. Go figure.
damn.. this them is a perfect example of why we need control over drop shadows. they look way too big there.. if we could change the pixel depth, things would be fun!
