Nope, the iPod updater is able to run but the window is just blank with no buttons able to click. Basically unresponsive but in a weird way.

If you actually have the full resolution pictures on your iPod, they will be in a folder called "Full Resolution" in your "Photos" folder. They are just stored as JPEGs.
