I sync my 1gb shuffle on my G3 iBook which has USB 1.1 Took me about 20minutes to fill up 180 songs or so (first sync).

It's taking quite an amount of time to send songs to my 512MB shuffle. I'm thinking it's because I told iTunes to autoconvert songs to a lower bit rate just for the shuffle though…
