I knw when I buy a car I always ask, but arent' they coming out with a better one soon?... I mean a week into the release of it, not 300 days... one week.... after a brand new m…
I bet an 8 or 16 GB nano comes out when Apple can source flash memory of that size and sell a device around it for $250 to $350. Last I saw, an 8 GB CF card was north of $1K, so i…
What are you running? Windows? Mac? Let us know.
How would you normally go about getting your contacts on the iPod? :O
Also, the link in your message takes me to a 'start new thr…
You probably have other programs on your iPod. Have you ever used it as an external hard drive? You should be getting closer to 13.5 gb on a 15gb iPod, I would say.
If you don't have any computer data on the iPod, just use the iPod updater program to restore it to the factory state. That should get you back to full capacity.
I guess I'd like to know what the formatted capacity of the iPod nano is. It's usually about 92% of the iPod's stated size when empty.
The iPod has to reserve some space to keep t…
Memory sizes are not like hard drive sizes. Since memory chips operate in powers of 2, 4GB of flash memory should actually be 4GB. Apparently, the iPod OS takes about 300MB.

I had a chance to see the Nano in person. Mesmerised is the correct word for what I felt. I have to get one. Then I compared the White and Black Models. Though black looked good bu…

It will work with your dock, however you will have to use the supplied USB cable as opposed to your firewire cable. The connector on the back of the dock is standard.

The dock adaptor with the Nano is for future accessories, not current ones. All it does is provides an exact fit for the Nano. The Nano will sit fine in any old dock, as the conn…
