I just had to share. I've had a string of bad luck with a 2400c I had so I bought a cheapo "parts machine" off of eBay awhile back and thought it'd be good to change out the boards…

...and can never run System 7.6.

Forget 7.6, it can run AU/X. Also should be able to to 128Mb still with original ROMs.
