But you are getting a quad for 2499. Perhaps in that way, 256 MB just doest seem as offensive. Yeah 256 is weak.

That is going to be a rocking high end pro machine. But $2499 - that leaves a huge hole for a new mid-range system. Any bets on if that is announced today or later?
