Didn't/doesn't Zoom make modems? Maybe they did a special for Macs...If there's a third-party modem in there, that would likely be it.

Zoom Technologies is a guitar processor company that is owned by Samson International.
I think its a modem or something because the logo looks more like the modem company than the guitar processor company logo.
