Some of my older conquests

I THINK those came from one of my old friends that used to run a local Apple II repair business. He was going to dumpster them (they work) and a ton of other great things.. I sold a lot of them.. Disk II's didn't sell well did they? ha

For the most part I collect primarily Apple II, IIgs (Still my favorite), and Mac equipment. However I go through phases where I get onto other things. The last 6 years or so has been the older audio and video gear for the Mac and II's. So now I have lot's of Digidesign gear, Radius, and Avid too. I have a background in networking so that's how I ended up with the Cayman Gatorbox versions and the Shiva gear. Also have a selection of Cisco and PCS that run the "house" so to speak.
Two of my favorites are in the top of that blue rack. The blue rack came from a Data General Nova 4 mini computer. My brother scrapped the perfectly functional machine for beer money in college (I'm still a bit bitter about that). Still have a MicroNova though at the parents house left. BUT the top two units in there now are the rack version of the Gatorbox and the rack version of the Shiva FastPath. Below those are two more Cayman but they are the upgraded boxes that also have the LocalTalk hub built in for 24 ports. Then a Nortel old 100 mbit switch, and the really ancient switch below that just for kicks. (Hey it was only 10 bucks and it has fiber ports

I THINK I have most all of the various Shiva products they made down there in the basement too. All those small gray boxes that all did about the same thing but had 4 names.
Upstairs I have the Nintendo VirtualBoy setup. Have all the boxed carts for it for US, and all but the big 4 Japanese carts that nearly no one has. That was from back in the days when I was doing VR R & D (1995-1996) - The output of that in my life is now what everyone calls the Nintendo Wii controller
I probably have the largest complete or near complete collection of the Mattel Children's Discovery System computer. What I can't tell for sure is if I have all the carts they produced since they sort of folded up shop in the middle of the run. I'll get picks of those sometime up maybe too.

People had to wait weeks on a waiting list to get one. Apple couldn't make them fast enough.SOUNDSTICKS!

I have a pair of those bose speakers without apple branding. They're sort of "meh" to me, sort of like every other bose product, a little thumpage, midrange over the top and missing a broad part of the audio spectrum.

On the iSub , I'm going to need you guys to tell me what I have I guess. It's definitely the clear subwoofer. It has the clear power supply brick and the usb cable hanging from it and has Harman/Kardon on the front and on the power brick. My neighbor said there used to be the sound sticks that he used with his mac, but they were not in the box and he couldn't find them either.
So does that mean I have an iSub? Either way it glows and sounds almost as good as our Pioneer 12" sub on the main stereo in the house. Not bad for what looks like a 6" or 8" subwoofer.
Anyone ever get one to work in OSX NOT on a B&W machine?
