Considering an ING Internet Bank Account.

2.10% seems OK. Better than my local 1% Citibank Preffered money Market Account.

Are you guys aware of a better deal?
I'm not, but I've had an ING account for some time and it's a great bank to do business with.

Agreed.
Don't know much about the interest rates by comparison with other things, but service-wise, ING is really superb.
wow I did not know it had such a fanbase.

what services do you guys use?
I've had a savings account and some CDs there for about a year. It's just their simplicity and ease of use, great service, lack of annoying marketing, etc that makes me like them. It's banking without hassles -- I guess that's an easy way to sum it up.
I've had an ING savings account for 5 years. Their web site isn't full of MSIE-only Active-X, JScript bullsh*t, they're friendly, and transactions are quick an easy.

Go for it. Even if you find a better deal in the future, nothing will stop you from jumping.
I almost setup an account about 5 years ago but never did. I say do what you want. The interest rate does sound good...
i think I WILL!!!!

thanks guys!

i plan on using the auto save thingy too so that it can grab money from my checking account to make sure i am always saving something from each paycheck.
Wow...resurrecting this topic quickly. I opened mine last July with the 2.10% and it's now at 2.35%. I love the ease of use and the top notch security that comes with it. Definitely recommend this to anyone.

Agreed. They've always been helpful when I've called them for help. One thing you should remember if you put in money with them is that if you need your money that you put in it takes about 3 days to get it. I've had them for a few years and I've finally started making a concerted effort to put money into it. Their interest rate is decent. I remember when it was 4 percent. Hopefully it'll get back to that point. It's been going up the past 1.5 years. Earlier it was at 2 percent then it went to 2.10 percent now it's at 2.35 which is better than any bank I know. I would also reccommend them to anyone as well.
Count me in - had one for over five years.
wtf. this thread makes me want to be an ING client.
Yeah, I think I'm going to open one too. ****!

If ANYONE WOULD like to pm, and send me a referal, I'll open an account ING and you'll get the $10.
So what, no one with a ING account can send an e-vite and get $ for free?

If you would like to review more.

EDIT: I got an evite! Cool and thanks you guys.
I just joined as well. The rate is a whole 1% better than my credit union offers.
