WWDC more developer than we thought at first?

I was just thinking about this, and those features in the OS we all want but don't get... like say FTP in the finder that actually works. Or MSN compatibility with iChat. And then I got to thinking... hey they gave out a LOT of SDKs... more than we've previously seen at one time. Perhaps this WAS an actual developer conference and those other 140 features aren't all just blue widgets turned green and the like.

So what do you guys think? Perhaps we're going to see some awesome features that we didn't really plan on... or am I just deluded? Ten features per release?
My point exactly!..

somebody, please, tell him what the D in WWDC stands for.
What was being demoed was a load of APIs for developers and a little bit of sugar for the non-developers (and to show what can be done with them).

Exciting stuff if you're a developer.
We'll probably get another preview of features in a few months.

keep your eyes peeled: http://www.apple-expo.co.uk/
The week is packed full with demo sessions and hands-on workshops, where a lot of cool stuff get shown. Most of those will be available on ADC TV or as DVD discs sometime after the conference and the impressive stuff will most likely make its way to forums.

As a developer, I found the keynote incredibly exciting. I'm looking forward to Tiger more than I was looking forward to Panther.
