Cool, can't wait! I'm glad he's keeping true to his promise.
He seems to have passed the switchers' point of no return...
He's also taking requests for ideas for future Mac hardware- related articles. (The site being primarily just that, a hardware site.)

I'm hoping their articles would look at 'platform as hardware', though, evaluating the performance of CoreVideo, -Image and -Audio with different configurations, external components etc.
