I didn't remember to sign up in time for WoW. I signed up for the European beta, though, on the off chance that they will let an American get into that.
EverQuest is great, especially for Legends members, but the $40 a month on the credit card is annoying.

Yeah but if you want a better chance, you could post in MacNN Games Forum and hope that blizzard developer will see your name and take you to the top of the waiting list as he did to me and several other macnn members.
$40 monthly? Damn, that's ridiculous
BTW, who's Genolwena? A boss in EQ?

Genolwena is the name of my character.
Also, do you think I have any chance of the "blizzard developer" letting me in considering I completely missed the signup deadline? I do have some decent qualifications (beta tester for lots of the EverQuest games, some Microsoft games, Windows XP, Windows .NET Server 2003, a bunch of Apple stuff, etc.).
