What a load of crap:

* only 150,000 titles (planned are 300,000)
* prices between 1.19 and 1.69 Euro per song
* burning rights differ from label to label
* no pop-up blocker allowed
* 31 MB download just for shop software

They didn't.

Clicking the download link brings you to the IE for Windows download page.
Sony sure knows how to be silly sometimes.

I dont think that Sony even realise that the Mac exists. There crapy app for transfering tracks on to MiniDisk still has no Mac version, there new HD based Walkman has no Mac version, same goes for there Aibo control apps.

No, Sony is at least realistic about their chance to get Mac users in their boat: nada, zero, zilch, null, nix, rien....

Yeah, but their new HD-based Walkman is ATRAC3 ONLY (no mp3 support), so they might as well not bother offering a Windows version, either.

Hey come to Europe where the Big Macs have three patties and everybody loves Explorer! And no pesty Homeland Security to nag us about stuff...
Now now, I'm SURE Sony has a high quality store... by the way anyone wanna bet Sony is one of the labels dragging it's feet when it comes to Apple's world wide distribution? I thought Sony liked Apple... their president even kinda wanted to buy them at one point... bah Sony is evil... DIE SONY!

For the record I've stopped willingly buying sony products...
