Just wondering when they're announcing the winners - I tried my darndest on one of the 100,000 countdowns, and I was just wondering if I'm a loser already because I haven't been notified, or if there's still hope for a new iPod 20GB.

Nod, it makes you buy more... The other night the counter was at 97,(something) so a waited a bit and clicked buy. Check the counter after the next update 99,(some)

The counter seems to increase every +/- 2,000 songs. So, watch that and practice your timing and you might get lucky.
Spending 99� for a 1 in 100,000 shot at a $400 item is a sucker bet. I seriously doubt that the counter on the main page is all that accurate. Buy songs if you want them, but don't do it in hopes of winning anything.

Very true. Of course, it's all some good fun, and I'm getting a few songs I've wanted for some time.
However, I still haven't heard (other than the $100 Dell sale comment, which I imagine was sarcasm) if it's happened to anyone... anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

There is, of course, no purchase necessary to win. Just read the fine print for the FREE way to enter the contest.
Instead of giving an actual count, the counter now says "97,000,000+" songs sold.
