Danzig gets his punk a$$ knocked out

Subject: I beat up Glen Danzig last night!

Bad show with Danzig last night. I posted this on Blabbermouth.com before he tries to sue me for knocking him out. Read this and die with laughter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Before crazy rumors begin to spread I would like to explain what happened:

North Side Kings were to play with Danzig last night in Tuba City, Arizona. To make a long story short the whole show was a disaster and a few bands got bumped off. Mr. Danzig (or his managment??) refused to push back the original scheduled time slot so North Side Kings and Rapid Fire would have to play "after" his set. Whatever- we agreeded to play later because we drove 6 hours and didn't feel like going home without playing.

Needless to say, as soon as Danzig was finished, the venue turned on the lights and Danzigs crew and the staging company began to take the stage apart almost instantly. I confronted Mr. Danzig backsatge while he was signing autographs and told him I thought he was an ******* because of his "rockstar" attitude and no consideration twords the FEW other bands that got bumped off tonight. In a fit of rage he turned around and slammed me into the wall yelling "**** you mother****er" trying to be a big toughguy in front of his fans. I -in self defence punched him in the face knocking him out as he was attacking me again. He went down, bleeding from his mouth, eyes rolled back, and in shock that he got knocked to the floor so quickly.

A friend happened to tape the entire incident and this is all documented. Many witnesses saw him attack me, and I did what any man would do.

It was unfortunate that this went the way it did -and I hoped Glen Danzig learned a valuable lession tonight - Do not lay your hands on anyone unless you can handle what may happen.

I aploigize for nothing, except for the poor little kids that had to witness this big ******* get his ass kicked in a matter of seconds.....

He used to be cool back in the day, Misfits, and that first album. Knocking out some poor has-been, �sshole or no, just makes me sad, and feel old...

i want to try and make excuses for glenn. oh. it was a sucker punch, a cheap shot.

he got knocked the **** out. he asked for it, and it was delivered to his jaw in spades.

All in all classy stuff. Still feel old, though...

I felt that way too. It was a bit of a sucker punch and cheap shot. It was uncalled for, but so was that shove and whiney "**** you, mother****er!" I mean, it was classic. Hopefully everyone learned something, but I got a good Lawl� out of it.

Wow, he barely made contact and Danzig went down like a sack of vegemite. Could you imagine if he'd really hit the guy?

BTW -- there's no "sucker punch" after you push somebody. It's on. It's all good.

I was thinking that too. People calling it a sucker punch made no sense. That guy shoved him and shoved him hard. He should been ready to get smacked in the face. Maybe he was expecting a couple more pushes back and forth and finally a wraslin' match on the floor, but apparently Danny doesn't do that.

The video shows that it didn't happen quite like Danny said it did. He said he was "pinned against the wall" when it was clearly just a single shove that didn't pin him anywhere.

OK, I retract the sucker punch, since Glen(n?) did shove him and was at attention. It almost seemed like Glen was waiting for his buddies in the red shirts to jump in there and help him out. Oh well.

I still call it a cheap shot, as I probably would've handled it differently if I were in that situation. Big D had it coming, fo' serious.

All I can say is that if you physically assault (push) someone and verbally attack them, expect retaliation. I don't think Danzig expected that.

So what did the guy do after he went down? I would have ran for fear of all the fans ganging up on me.

I've seen this type of thing happen a lot.

What I hate are the girls who scream "kick his ass" or stuff like that. It sounds so.. beast like in a girl's mouth. I really hate it when girl scream like that.

ya. maybe shorter. i guarantee in that video he was wearing some tall ass boots.

i remember there was some headbangers ball in germany with danzig. all the shots were taken from down low. down a set of stairs, with them all standing up on something, etc. just so you couldnt see how much shorter glenn was than everyone else.

its easy to hate on glenn now, but he was in the misfits. they did some flat out legendary stuff. its a shame to see how bad it all went to glenns head.
