Hi! I know I'm not a regular here, but allow me to introduce my new blog. I'm putting a lot of effort into it and I'd like to hear your opinion about how is it. Please find the link in my sig. Thanks! Ivan

Nice design.
I like the color scheme.

Nice site! Some seriously useful Photoshop tips on there. Only thing I'd suggest is scaling down your top header/logo a bit, takes up an awful lot of space for something static.

besides from that, its a nice site. the logo is too big though.
Link is still not working for me....
The link is working for me. The orange reminded me of my Apple II E screen.
I like the site and I recall having read some pretty useful tips on there. My only two complaints are that 1, I don't think the blog format is working for you. I think that it would be much more effective if you employed a ThinkSecret.com style approach with the two main articles and then a listing of recent articles and then the archives. I think it works great on both levels because it lets you promote your new material and it allows the user to quickly scan through your many (growing) tips. That would make me come back more personally. I just don't think that have several pages with 10 tips per page works for me. Mainly because it's hard to know where I "left off" i.e. the last thing I read and also just because it makes tedious to have to browse through the full content of every single post. It makes it harder if I want to find that one useful tip I was looking for.
My second suggestion would be possibly an option to switch the color scheme (again à la ThinkSecret, and no I'm not affiliated
) to a more "fresh" orange, dark/light gray on white scheme. The current color scheme is very attractive, but after while it can get kind of tiring.
Also, I'm not sure if you accept submissions or not, but that would probably be a good idea. I'm sure you have a lot you want to share, but I'm sure there's only a finite amount of useful tips you have. No offense, just being realistic.
Anyways, good job with the site, I'd love to see it grow

Not bad, and your site's design is good, too. I keep trying to find that 'CSS Nirvana' which I never can
.Mike
Very nice and usefull blog...
thanks a lot for your encouragement and advices guys!
i agree with the fact that i definitely need to make categories, but at this time blogger doesn't have such feature. i may need to move the stuff over to a different system.
putting less news on the first page is also to be considered, but i'm afraid people will not take the effort to actually click around, but if it's on the first page they might actually read it. usually the first 10 messages are a product of one week. i don't know how often people would visit this site, but i suppose most of them weekly if at all.
i do accept submissions, at this time on email only. i hope people will send stuff, because that would give a bigger variety. a friend of mine, who is a top designer is thinking to contribute from time to time with design related articles. not about the technology, but about the thinking and creating process.

The link doesn't work. The page won't load. If you fixed, I'll give it a shot.

demograph68 that would be great! thanks a lot. If you don't have time, just drop a line with the idea and i'll write it up properly and will credit you.
Nicely done. I wonder why Apple keeps on hiding those nice shortcuts.
