I think it needs a little work.

Is that dial in the center the speedometer? Tell me it says "mph x10" somewhere?

We ran a search on the VIN and found out that its a 1956 not a 57, the guy at the dealer got it in 56 and sold it in 57 as new. The gas leak has been temporally solved, god bless seal-all. We got shocks all around for her (one was completely bunk, doesn't really show in the pic, but the left rear is lowered by 3 inches) and we have a new generator coming next week. After that looks like its only breaks and hydraulic hoses and maybe some new rubbers and she good for the winter.
Voted Worst Waste Of Bandwidth. Ever.
very, uhhm, yeah.
I like the exterior.

I'd suggest you put in new brakes (rather than ruptures) and perhaps some tires instead of condoms. I think condoms would wear out rather quickly on the rims.

try mint julep MG midget, its so not stock its disgusting, but fun as hell to drive.

BTW changed all the shocks tonight in about an hour and half, went really smooth. checked out the break lines and they seam fine, so hopefully the new master cynlinder we ordered should fix all the brake problems. Other then that everything looks really solid underneath.

Oh and that winch is rated at 8000 pounds, i think it will do.
wow... an old flatty... with the 4 cylinder... I am a bit of a jeep fan myself... but i am in the 4 wheeling crowd. I have an 89 wrangler with 33's (tires, just got some new ones actually $769!!!) yeah fun stuff.
if that were my jeep, I would do a frame up restoration on it, sand blast everything and re-paint it... put some Dana 60's under it, sprung over on waggy springs, and put some 36-37 inch tires under it and have one badass flatty... with a 350? or maby a vortec v6?

oh, and the winch needs new cable!
cool. My granddad had one like that.
Does it actually drive ?

stone age technique under the hood, but when it runs......

Oh, and the water pump looks leaky.
As a fellow Jeeper, that looks like a great project car...

i believe you are referring to the hydraulic pump, and yeah we had to tighten that brass angle fitting but she holds now, its kinda cool that it takes automatic trany fluid.
