My prayers go out to her family and friends. I enjoyed that show. May Isabelle Sanford rest in peace.

What's wild is that there's a twenty year age difference between Isabel Sanford and Sherman Helmsley (who played George). When the series premiered, Isabel was 58 while Sherman was 38 (just 10 years older than the actor who played Lionel, their son).

On TV, they appeared very close in age (mid to late 40s).

Are the Jeffersons on DVD yet??
