It won't get passed. It better not. Sen. Orrin Hatch is a moron. BTW, it's funny to see an iPod ad next to the article.

Music was being stolen long before iPods. This bill is like saying it's a crime to introduce a product that potentially makes people steal music. Total BS. Potential crime is not a crime.

This law is probably uncontitutional even if it passes.

I can't see this bill passing... where would it end? Could Xerox then be sued for any illegal copy made? Sony for any TV show that was taped?

Way to broad, especially since there was already a ruling about a similar situation when the VCR was brought to market.
