Pat Robertson on Television 24 Hours a Day... If Roy Disney Gets His Way

It's an option on Roy E. Disney's Web site.

How much money does Pat Robertson want for his 1% stake in ABC Family?
He's gonna be really tired after a few days on the air...
Pat's not such a bad guy.

Check out his book The End of The Age. It's about a meteor impact sending California crashing into the ocean, and has all the literary value of a Trekkie's fan fiction piece about them getting seduced by Michelle Nichols. Basically it's about everyone who's a white conservative American inheriting the earth, while the pinko commie queers burn in hell and Pat's people get to say 'Told you so.' About halfway through the book, really fun things happen like people's heads turning into snakes and there being magical trap doors where liberals can send people to be forced to listen to Noam Chomsky's lectures whilst engaging in premarital interracial gay sex.

I hypothesize that the entire book was written on a three-day long peyote/robitussin/vicatin binge, but who knows, Pat may have been sober as a bird.
Robertson is nut job.

As long as you ignore the Jewish conspiracy theories he writes about on his Web site and the opinion that comes off as news on his television show (which The Walt Disney Company is contractually obligated to air).

Sounds like the book of Revelations.

Time to read up.... before it's too late!

39 posts to go...
This doesn't surprise me, typical of Disney these days. Pat's just a fruit though, bit of a joke to me.
They should do well together.
pat robertson is the mullah omar of the west.

Twisted loony.

He actually just sounds like a typical gloom and doom cult preacher.
This is probably why I don't watch the 700 club. Jesus didn't say "thou shalt tell your government what to do" or "thou shalt go condemn the sinners." But that's what people do with religion - use it for power. It's sad...

He did teach, he uplifted, he criticized the religious leaders. He talked to those who would listen - if you don't want to hear it, then yelling and condemning isn't going to do a thing!

Just live by example - if the way you live your life isn't proof enough for other people to change their life styles... then maybe the way you're living ain't that grand. Hmmm?
This is the same guy who said Florida deserved to get hit by a hurricane because Disney World had an event that a lot of gay people went to.

After 9/11, he said that the attacks happened because Americans had insulted god at the highest levels of government through rampant secularism, pornography and abortion. He regularly encourages his viewers to pray that the Supreme Court be transformed into an instrument of god's righteousness.

He's a first class wacko.

That explains a lot.
No seriously, he believes that people's actions effect the consequences. If you believe homosexual actions are bad (What the Bible teaches) then bad consequences will come from it.

This isn't "loony"

This is "You reap what you sow"

Some call it "Karma"

Roy E. Disney was forced out of The Walt Disney Company last year. (Hence the name of his Web site savedisney.com.) And somehow I doubt that he was serious. The guy has the exact opposite political views of Pat Roberson.

Not that anyone at ABC Family or The Walt Disney Company is all that happy that they're contractually obligated to air Pat Robertson's programming.

It's not just that, there's a dearth of other stuff he spouts off that only deserves a response such as being called a loony.

He is by far, another crazy preachin muthatrucka. Thankfully such persons weild little influence outside of their native country.

PB.
I just remembered something. Pat was the guy who tried to weasle himself into Scotland, and set up a bak account with the Bank of Scotland. There was a huge outcry about our bank supporting this, to some, right-wing racist, homophobic and sexist preacher. His character was less than savoury to us here.

In time, the Bank decided not to support his venture and cut ties with him, although to the chagrin of the bannk. So, we Scots kicked his ass out of here.

This is the man who wants the US Government to adopt his teachings as policy, if I read that article correctly earlier. Now how's that for a crazy idea.
Pat Robertson has been giving his church or charity money to African dictators in return for permission to mine for diamonds for years.

You heard correctly. Google is your friend and Christopher Hitchens is the biographer.
Choice quotes of PR:

"When I said during my presidential bid that I would only bring Christians and Jews into the government, I hit a firestorm. What do you mean? the media challenged me. Youre not going to bring atheists into the government? How dare you maintain that those who believe in the Judeo Christian values are better qualified to govern America than Hindus and Muslims? My simple answer is, Yes, they are."from Pat Robertsons "The New World Order," page 218."

"(talking about apartheid South Africa) "I think one man, one vote, just unrestricted democracy, would not be wise. There needs to be some kind of protection for the minority which the white people represent now, a minority, and they need and have a right to demand a protection of their rights."Pat Robertson, "The 700 Club", 18/3/92

"Many of those people involved with Adolf Hitler were Satanists, many of them were homosexuals - the two things seem to go together."Pat Robertson, "The 700 Club", 21/1/93

"Just like what Nazi Germany did to the Jews, so liberal America is now doing to the evangelical Christians. Its no different. It is the same thing. It is happening all over again. It is the Democratic Congress, the liberal-based media and the homosexuals who want to destroy the Christians.

Wholesale abuse and discrimination and the worst bigotry directed toward any group in America today. More terrible than anything suffered by any minority in history."Pat Robertson, 1993 interview with Molly Ivins [on the occasion of the Orlando, Florida Gay Pride Festival 1998] "I would warn Orlando that youre right in the way of some serious hurricanes, and I dont think Id be waving those flags in Gods face if I were you,"Pat Robertson, "The 700 Club", 8/6/98

"If the widespread practice of homosexuality will bring about the destruction of your nation, if it will bring about terrorist bombs, if itll bring about earthquakes, tornadoes and possibly a meteor, it isnt necessarily something we ought to open our arms to."Pat Robertson, "The 700 Club", 8/6/98

Is this all you do? reply in such ways that you neither part anything useful, nor give credit to your cause, religion, or whatever.

You really need to re-evaluate yourself one day.

Oh, what's with the sig? Is this another attempt at lumping Arabs and dogs together? Why not just say it rather than concealing it behind a veiled racism.
ATTENTION RIGHT WING RELIGIOUS ZEALOTS AND LEFT WING ANTI-RELIGION BIGOTS:

This was supposed to be a humor thread. If you actually clicked on the link in my first post, you would have realized that. And considering that some of the other options included Power Rangers and Anime and Infomercials, it would have been clear to you that Roy Disney wasn't serious either.
