WoW Mods for macs?

I just broke down and bought WoW 3 days ago and have been playing a lot. I just decided at lvl 18 to scrap my leatherworking/skinning and take up herb/alc since everything i've made is muuuuch worse than the unique stuff i've found. Ok, so talking to my herby buddies online they say that there are some UI's out there that make small notes on the minimap as to where you've uprooted certain herbs... "gathering mod". Also, some ppl have been telling me about Cosmos mod. I went to a couple different sites, but none say any mac compatability. just wondering if anyone knows of any mods that are for Mac users also. Thanks.

Most mods work fine on either platform. They're not binary, and don't forget, Blizzard loves us Mac folk.
Yes, mods are mods. The programming is all done with Lua. No compatibility issues at all (well except between versions of wow itself).
How do i run the cosmos.exe file then?

cosmos has too much "crap"

www.curse-gaming.com is better, pick what you want.
Check out Macologist.org

I don't know if we have WoW mods, yet, but if you post over there asking for a particular mod, I'm sure someone could take care of it for you.

You don't. Use the zip file located on their site if it's what you are interested in using. I found it too heavy for what I was doing.
Cosmos is bloated junk. Use CTMod instead, and disable the parts you don't want.
I personally use Insomniax Recompolation.
CTmod is nice too!

But seriously, don't use Cosmos >_<
Yeah, I downloaded cosmos and didn't like it. Basically all I want is a transparent map option that can be turned off or on and for items and possibly npc's to appear on my maps. Oh, and one side question... I'm playing WoW on my 15" PB (which actually works really well), but at the time of purchase I didn't upgrade to the 128 vid card... I now realize was a bad call. Is there such a thing as an external vid card? or maybe a card I can just throw in the side slot? Thanks.

Nope. Very, very rare is it to see a laptop with changeable video.
