shapeshifter stopped working???

i woke up this morning and found that my register copy of shapeshifter 2.1 stopped working.
am i alone in this?

i updated from the last version and everything was fine until today.

my registration info is still there and is now option to re-register.
also according to the pref pane, my theme is applied, but clearly its no working....

we i first woke up my machine this morning i got a popup that said my shapeshifter demo had expired.
????
demo?!?!

what gives?

i tried reinstalling shapeshifter, but no go.......

anyone else have this problem?
suggestions on a fix?

Did you re-register?
I recall when I applied 2.1 I had to re-register. I didn't really have to type anyhting in or give any more info, I just followed the dialog boxes. Pretty harmless and to date SS is working fine.

no.
i don't have the option to re-register.

the 'register' button is greyed out.

its very weird.
i can apply a theme, but it doesn't do anything.

un-installing and re-installing does the same thing.

it keeps my original registration info, but it doesn't work.

i'm totally confused.

permissions repaired fixed the promblem!

i shouldn've tried that first!

A couple of times I've open an app, such as iTunes, and its reverted to Aqua partially. I'm on Tiger, running updated SS, permissions repaired. The themes that did it were Max's Tiger version of AluAlloy and the non-updated but working Section9 theme and AlBook.

i cant get shapeshifter to work it says to do registration update and try it and says error. any fix?

I'm having troubles this morning as well. I changed my theme (to Siro 2.0) and the theme works with most appications, but no longer works with Mail and some others. Further, when I click on the desktop, I get Aqua. I repaired permissions with Disk utility, verified that nothing was in the "exclude" list of shapeshifter, and restarted. Anyone have any ideas?
