I picked up a monitor to keep track of video edits and graphics. I have it connected through an S video cable to my camera, which is easy enough.
I'd like to set it up so that it will mirror video from my desktop as well though. For instance if I'm compositing and want to have a preview on the monitor before I kick it to tape.
What's the easiest way to do this? My G5's ATI Radeon 9600 XT has 2 digital outs but no other plugs ( like this other ATI's hand S video output).
Is there some straight forward way I can set it up without spending hundreds? This my first time expanding my video set up at home so please be patient with the newb factor.
