British Macintosh System Software Version B-6.0.3 Release Note Revision Dates: January 25, 1989 © Apple Computer, Inc. 1989. All rights reserved. Change History The 4 disks in this package are the localized versions of the U.S. system 6.0.3 disks. No special changes were required for the British version aside from localization. In addition to the U.S. code changes, the changes between the B-6.0.3 and B-5.0 release are as follows: System File: Added SICN for Britain Disk Description The British disks are identical to the U.S. disks with a few exceptions. Their keyboard includes the British pound sign (£) instead of the hash mark sign (#). The spelling of all instances of "color" has been changed to "colour". The paper defaults in the printer drivers have been set to A4 paper. The British system can be identified by the user by the word "wastebastket" that is substituted for the U.S. word "trash" on the desktop. This package contains the December 1988 System Software release localized for use in the U.K..
