Escape! By Zik First of all , thank you for purchasing Escape!. INSTRUCTIONS: Here are a list of the nouns and verbs you are able to use in Escape. NOUNS VERBS Sword , Sandals , Beer, Spear, Get , take , search, rest, look, yell , stab, swing mac , candy , 10$ , oil can, skis kick , accept, use, eat, inventory, drink, pay , oil lever, knob, chest, head, side turn, twist, aim, ski, offer, read, and pull. foot, North , south, east, west, up, down , and fist. Taking Items Often when your playing you will come across someting you will want to take. To do this click on the item or type"get { { Item} } "or"take{ { Item} } " If you cannot take it , ESCAPE! will respond accordingly. Fighting If you come across a hosile monster , you must fight it. To do so , select a weapon from the Weapons menu. ESCAPE! automatically computes your chance of a hit , and damage.You may also type for example , "Swing Sword" to use the sword. The COMMANDS You can select commands from the menu of the same name to do things. Such as , you pull down the menu and select "North" and it will move you north.You can also type commands. Offering and accepting When fighting a monster , and you are being defeated , it is a good idea to offer a monster items. To do this , type"offer" and the name of the item. An example of this is "offer ball of twine" To accept a monster's offer , type "accept". Hints on play An object may be hidden in many scenes. Use the Search command to search an area. If an object is hidden , Search will find it.
