Igor Engraver 1.6 Manual
NoteHeads Musical Expert Systems AB
This manual refers to the notation software Igor Engraver 1.6, which can be downloaded from www.noteheads.com
Regarding the PDF Version of this Manual
We have been working hard creating an index that we find as relevant as possible. This means not every instance of
a word is included. If you want to find more instances of a word – for example, the word “stem” – then press Ctrl-F
(Windows), or A-F (Macintosh) and type “stem” in the search window that appears.
Also, observe that you can view all the manual’s headings to the left of the main window. If you do not see them,
click the icon which resembles the one shown below once. If you click a heading entry, the document will jump to
the corresponding heading. The triangles to the left of the entries are clickable too. Click once to see all subentries.
Finally, note that all of the page numbers listed in the Index and the two Tables of Contents are clickable as well.
Click once and the document will display the corresponding text.
