INTRODUCTION
Innecto 68K is a puzzle game of connections. The board is filled with wires, microchips and T-pieces. In the middle sits
the power source. Your task is simple to describe but endlessly absorbing to master: rotate the components so that
every piece on the board is linked to the power source.
The concept traces its roots to the network-tile games of the early Mac era, but Innecto 68K has been reimagined and
extended for the ‘Classic’ Macintosh family of computers, from System 2.1 through to MacOS 9.2 (and the Classic
environment). With more than 100 levels, generated fresh for each game, and ranging from gentle warm-ups to fiendish
timed games, move counted games and wrap-around puzzles, this game will keep even the most dedicated puzzler
occupied for many hours.
Progress is saved – so there’s no need to replay a level (unless you want to!).
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Innecto 68K runs on any Apple Macintosh computer with at least 128K of RAM and System Software 2.1. On more
powerful Macs (Mac Plus, Mac SE) there is sound, and on colour Macintosh with 32bit QuickDraw it runs in colour.
LOADING THE GAME
You should immediately make a backup copy of the Innecto 68K disk and use the backup for everyday play, or install it
onto your hard disk. Place the original in a safe place. Simply double click the icon to launch Innecto 68K.
Game progress in saved in the Innecto preferences file, which you can find saved in your System folder. Note that, even
on System 7.1 and newer, the preferences file is in the root of the System folder.
THE GAME
Rules and Object
The playing field is a grid filled with tiles. Each tile is a circuit component: a straight wire, an elbow, a T-junction, a
crossroads, a microchip, or the power source. The power source sits at the centre of the board.
Your goal: rotate the tiles until every component on the board is electrically conn…
