The GS-8 uses standard 1-meg chips and can be expanded up to
8 megabytes on one card-the maximum RAM capacity ofthe ligs.
No other company builds a single card for the llgs memory
expansion sot that can expand to 8 megabytes using standard RAM
chips
CIRTECH's custom LSI chips mean these cards use very litle
power and create very litle heat. CIRTECH's GS-8 is the most-
expandable, highest-quality igs memory card available in the world
lat one of the world’s lowest prices.
Not compatible with Applied Engineering's RamKeeper or the lle

Cards for lle/llgs standard slots
plusRAM PR-16
CIRTECH's PR-16 memory card is a standard-slot memory card]
that can be used in the I-Plus, ll, or gs. It uses standard 1-meg|
RAM chips and can be expanded to 4 megabytes on one card (with
forthcoming 4-meg chips it can be expanded to 16 megabytes). The|
card works as a RAMdisk. On a lle, AppleWorks v1.3 and higher
automaticaly expand their desktop into this type of card (1- or 2-
megs oniy). We can supply a patch so AppleWorks wil use this card
ona igs as well. Cards can be partitioned as RAMGisks for diferent
operating systems using software supplied with the card by|
CIRTECH.
StatDisk
CIRTECH's StatDisk is a completely new concept in storage
technology. No other company makes anything like it. Your computer
and software thnk the StatDisk isa standard-slot RAM card, such as
CIRTECH's PR cards. What makes the StatDisk different is that what
you store on it stays stored after your turn the power oft—even after
you pull the card out of the computer! A small battery (built right onto
the card and automaticaly recharged when your computer is on)
keeps your data safe for over two months. No other data storage
medium is faster, quieter, or more reliable, No cords. Instant-on|
reliability (turn your computer on and boot into ApleWorks befor|
your monitor warms up). See our October 1988 catalog for complete
information.
SCSI products, fans
SCSI interface card
CIRTECH's SCSI interface card brings the world of SCSI hard
disks to your Apple ligs, lle, or IPlus, SCSI stands for "Small
[Computer System Interface’. This isa standard, defined by the ANSI
}X3T92 specification, which devices such as the Seagate STxxN
family of hard drives adhere to.
CIRTECH's card comes with software that allows you to spit SCSI
hard disks for use with up to four operating systems-ProDOS (or
}GSI0S), DOS 3.3, Pascal 1.3, or Microsoft Sotteard CPIM 2.208 or
2.23,
Unlke Apple's SCSI card, CIRTECH's card, with the addition of
SSCS! network software, can be used to share one or two hard disks
‘among as many as six or seven computers (a maximum of eight
devices total), Each computer has a private area on the disk.
CT-SC SCSI Interface Card $99
SCSI network software
CIRTECH's Mult-User SCSI software allows several computers to
“share” up to two high-capacity storage devices. This provides a
cost-effective way to attach several computers to a hard disk. Using
a 64-megabyte Seagate ST277N hard disk assembly, for example,
six computers could have “private" 10-megabyte hard disks for $200-
$250 per computer.
The software spis the hard disk up into “user partitions”. Only the
computer that owns the partion can write toi. Partitions can also be
"read-protected” at the users option. Operating system partiions can
be created inside a user partition.
Each computer also has access to a "common" partition that can
be used for read-only data and program storage. You'l need a
CIRTECH SCSI card for each computer and one network package.
CT-NET — SCSI Network Software $99
COOL-IT fans
Okay, you know you need a fan but you cant stand the noise.
Neither could the guys at Crtech. So they designed a pair of whisper
quiet fans forthe ligs and the lle. CIRTECH's fans use high-quality
bearings, special PBT fan blades and ant-vibration mounts. The lgs
fan is three times quieter than Apple's own fan and uses just one-
third the energy.
Fans install in about two minutes. Operate directly from the Apple|
ower supply, you have no power cord to run. CIRTECH's fans
install on the side of the power supply on the llgs and under the|
keyboard of the lle. Each lowers the intemal temperature of your
‘computer by 10 degrees or more.
‘SPECIFICATIONS: Current 65 mA; power 0.78 W; noise 22 dB.
CT-FAN-GS Cool-It for the ligs $49
CT-FAN-E Cool-It for the lle $49

notes like, ‘The disk subscription is by far one of the best software
values available today. I'm always able to put the contents to
productive use (Arthur Jones, Oklahoma City).
$4.67 a disk
The least expensive way to get the disks is to buy a I-, 2-, or 3-year
subscription. For example, with a one year subscription at $84, you
get our regular $28/yr newsletter plus twelve 3.5 disks for less than
$4.67 each. This is less than most user groups charge for 3.5 disks of
the month, which don't even contain proprietary information.
$4.75 a disk
You can get our disks for $4.75 each by converting your current
newsletter subscription to a newsletter/disk subscription. Figure out
how many disks you'll get between the first one you want and the
month your subscription expires and send us $4.75 a disk.
$5.00 a disk
A the end of the year, we'll offer a complete set of twelve disks for
$60. Since we don't have twelve disks yet, don't order this yet.
$6.00 a disk
You can buy our disks in quarterly sets for $18 a set. We currently
have two sets available: A2-89S1 (F/M/A) and A2-8982 (M/J/J).
$10.00 a disk
We don't recommend you buy them this way, but if you insist, we'll
still sell you any single disk for $10.

Cards for lle/Iigs standard slots
plusRAM PR-16
CIRTECH's PR-16 memory card is a standard-slot memory card|
that can be used in the ILPlus, Ile, or ligs. It uses standard 1-meg|
RAM chips and can be expanded to 4 megabytes on one card (with
forthcoming 4-meg chips it can be expanded to 16 megabytes). The|
card works as a RAMdisk. On a lle, AppleWorks v1.3 and higher|
automatically expand their desktop into this type of card (1- oF 2+
megs only). We can supply a patch so AppleWorks will use this card
‘ona ligs as well. Cards can be parttioned as RAMaisks for different
operating systems using software supplied with the card by
CIRTECH,
StatDisk
CIRTECH's StatDisk is a completely new concept in storage|
technology. No other company makes anything lke it. Your computer
and software thnk the StatDisk isa standard-slot RAM card, such as|
CIRTECH's PR cards, What makes the StatDisk diferent is that what
you store on it stays stored atter your turn the power of—even after
you pul the card out of the computer! A small battery (built right onto
the card and automatically recharged when your computer is on)
keeps your data safe for over two months. No other data storage|
medium is faster, quieter, or more reliable. No cords. Instant-on|
reliability (tum your computer on and boot into AppleWorks before|
your monitor warms up). See our October 1988 catalog for complete|
information.
SCSI products, fans
SCSI interface card
CIRTECH's SCSI interface card brings the world of SCSI hard
disks to your Apple ligs, lle, or IPlus, SCSI stands for "Small
(Computer System Interface’. Ths isa standard, defined by the ANSI
X3T9.2 specification, which devices such as the Seagate STxxN
amily of hard drives adhere to.
CIRTECH's card comes with software tha allows you to split SCSI
hard disks for use with up to four operating systems-ProDOS (or
GSI0S), DOS 3.3, Pascal 1.3, oF Microsoft Softcard CPIM 2.208 or
2.23
Unlike Apple's SCSI card, CIRTECH's card, with the addition of
SCSI network software, can be used to share one or two hard disks
‘among as many as six or seven computers (a maximum of eight
devices total). Each computer has a private area on the disk.
CT-SC SCSI Interface Card $99
SCSI network software
CIRTECH's Mult-User SCSI software allows several computers to
"share" up to two high-capacity storage devices. This provides a
cost-effective way to attach several computers to a hard disk. Using
a 64-megabyte Seagate ST277N hard disk assembly, for example,
six computers could have “private” 10-megabyte hard disks for $200-
$250 per computer.
The software splits the hard disk up into "user partitions”. Only the
computer that owns the partition can write to it. Partitions can also be
“read-protected’ at the users option. Operating system partitions can
be created inside a user partition.
Each computer also has access to a "common" partition that can
be used for read-only data and program storage. Youll need a
CIRTECH SCSI card for each computer and one network package
CT-NET — SCSI Network Software $99
COOL-IT fans
Okay, you know you need a fan but you can't stand the noise
Neither could the guys at Cirtech. So they designed a pair of whisper}
quiet fans for the llgs and the lle, CIRTECH's fans use high-quality
bearings, special PBT fan blades and ant-vibration mounts. The llgs|
fan is three times quieter than Apple's own fan and uses just one-
third the energy
Fans install in about two minutes. Operate directly from the Apple
power supply, you have no power cord to run. CIRTECH's fans
install on the side of the power supply on the ligs and under the
keyboard of the lle. Each lowers the intemal temperature of your
computer by 10 degrees or more.
‘SPECIFICATIONS: Current 65 mA; power 0.78 W; noise 22 dB.
