Last year's attendees gave us very high ratings and we want to do even better this year. We've decided to replace last years one-track keynote afternoon with more sessions and more opportunities to meet other conference attendees. This year’s conference will include a full set of technical sessions produced by Apple's Apple II Developer Technical Support Group and Apple's Apple Il engineers. They're putting on a igs College the day before our conference officially starts and more than a dozen technical sessions during the conference itself. We're also doing a full set of our own sessions. We'll have sessions on IIgs sound, animation, resources and resource tools, on debugging and marketing your products, and on advances in 8-bit development. We'll have speakers such as Jane Lee, Apple's manager of Apple Il marketing; David Szetela, Apple's manager of developer services; Roger Wagner on developing HyperStudio applications; Randy Brandt on developing UltraMacros applications; and Morgan Davis on MD-Basic and on BBS Apple ligs College On Thursday, July 19, the day before our summer conference officially begins, Apple will be holding an Apple ligs College at Avila. The college will include overview sessions on subjects such as GS/OS and toolbox programming, lab sessions where you'll work on a programming project of your choice, and classes ‘on specific tools. College staff will be available all three days of the conference to help you with lyour college project. You must register by June | to get the best prices. We have 80 double rooms available at Avila on a first- come-first-served double-occupancy basis. Conference prices include all meals from Thursday evening through Sunday morning. If you like, you can pay for the sessions and meals only and make your ‘own hotel and transportation arrangements. Or you can stay three nights (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) at Avila for an additional $50. And, for $25 more, we will arrange to have you met at the airport and brought directly to Avila and returned.
