This is the official 1.01 to 1.02 patch for the black-and-white build of Vette!, Spectrum HoloByte's 1989 Corvette driving game for classic Macintosh. Spectrum HoloByte granted permission for the updater to be freely distributed, and it was uploaded to Info-Mac in May 1993 by Ken Rosenberry.
About Vette!
Vette! puts players behind the wheel of a Chevrolet Corvette racing through a fully 3D rendered San Francisco, complete with the Golden Gate Bridge, Lombard Street, tunnels, and freeways.
Black-and-White Build
The B&W version targets compact Macs and other 1-bit displays, rendering the city in dithered monochrome while preserving the open-world driving, dynamic damage, and police-encounter mechanics of the color release.
What the Patch Does
Bumps B&W Vette! from 1.01 to 1.02. As a vendor-blessed update, it addresses compatibility and stability fixes carried over from the color updaters.
Usage
Apply to an installed copy of B&W Vette! 1.01. The color version requires a separate updater and is not affected by this patch.
