D.I.S.G.E. 1.0 is the Damage Incorporated Saved Game Editor, a 'cheater' utility for the Classic Mac first-person shooter Damage Incorporated. Submitted to Info-Mac by Richard Rouse (paranoid@panix.com), it lets players open their Damage Incorporated save files and freely tweak in-game attributes.

What it edits

The editor lets players modify their saved games by adjusting weaponry, health, and other character attributes as they see fit, effectively a save-game cheat tool rather than a trainer that intercepts the running game.

Requirements

The only requirement is a working copy of Damage Incorporated; anyone who can run the game can use the editor. The program is useless on its own for players who do not own the game.

Distribution

D.I.S.G.E. is freely distributable. The author explicitly grants permission to include the demo on Info-Mac CD-ROMs or anywhere else, and the file was originally submitted for the /game/com section of Info-Mac.
