Depeche Mode 10 Gunshy is a themed tile set for GunShy, E.C. Horvath's 1987 Mahjong Solitaire-style puzzle game for the Macintosh. It replaces the standard tile faces with imagery drawn from the British synth-pop band Depeche Mode, in the spirit of the many fan-made GunShy skins distributed across the shareware era.
About GunShy
GunShy is a Shanghai/Mahjong Solitaire variant in which the player removes matching pairs of free tiles from a stacked layout. Multiple versions shipped, including black-and-white, color, and PowerMac-compatible builds.
The Depeche Mode Skin
This release supplies an alternate tile set rather than a standalone game; it is loaded by an existing GunShy installation and swaps the default symbols for Depeche Mode-themed art.
Themed Tile Sets
GunShy's open tile-set format encouraged a long tail of fan skins covering bands, films, and other interests, and this Depeche Mode pack is a representative example of that user-contributed catalogue.
Use and Requirements
A working copy of GunShy on Classic Mac OS is required. The tile set is dropped into the appropriate GunShy assets folder and selected from within the game.
