Regress

Regress+ is a software package for (univariate) mathematical modeling -- equations and distributions. It features a large selection of models, including a user-defined equation, and will (optionally) compute robust confidence intervals for all model parameters. As an added bonus, the software will generate files of random variates from a large selection of distributions. Regress+ outputs both text and pictures. Compared to commercial statistical packages, Regress+ has a relatively limited repertoire. However, in some ways, is is not only superior to those packages but, indeed, unique in the richness of its functionality, its advanced methodology, and its user-friendliness.
