Enigmatic Movements is a tile puzzle from Lord Jochen of SwordLord - the coding crew, Inc., released for the Mac and updated through version 1.6. The brief is simple: shuffle colored tiles on a grid until every row or column is a single color, ideally in as few moves as possible.
Scalable difficulty
Boards range from a friendly 4x4 grid up to a punishing 10x10. Once the technique clicks the smaller boards fall quickly, but the real test is hitting a clean solution under a tight move budget.
Challenge Mode
A dedicated Challenge Mode dares you to finish a specific board within a maximum number of moves. Succeed and you bank points and unlock a harder challenge, building a steady ramp from casual session to brain-bender.
Player profiles and presentation
The game tracks statistics for up to ten players, supports four different tile sets, and lets you pick a background color. Two distinct tile-moving modes let players choose the input style that feels best.
Background music
Drop any MOD, MADH, XM, or S3M tracker module (or an alias to one) into the Music folder and Enigmatic Movements will play it during a session. Two tracks ship in the box to get the playlist started.
